Dr. Rafaela Garreta is an international attorney admitted to practice in both Brazil and the United States, with a strong background in American and international law. She is recognized for her academic excellence and commitment to justice and equity.
She earned her Bachelor of Laws from Estácio de Sá University in Rio de Janeiro and was admitted to the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) in 2006. She later obtained her Master of Laws (LL.M.) in American and International Law from Northeastern University School of Law in Massachusetts.
Dr. Garreta graduated as valedictorian of her class and served as Chair of the College’s Commission Against Institutionalized Racism. Her leadership reflects a deep commitment to advocacy, inclusion, and legal reform.
She is a member of the Brazilian Bar Association and is admitted before the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, the U.S. Federal Court for the District of Massachusetts, and the Executive Office for Immigration Review.
