ATTORNEY TANYA HALL


Attorney Tanya Hall is a Partner at Castel and Hall, LLP and is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She has extensive experience in probate and family law and is widely recognized for her compassion, professionalism, and dedication to her clients.


Attorney Hall has represented clients in domestic relations matters including divorce, custody, child support, guardianship, and adoption. She is certified to represent indigent families in the Massachusetts Juvenile Court and has additional experience in estates, trusts, and civil litigation.


She earned her Juris Doctor degree and is multilingual, speaking Spanish, French, and Haitian Creole. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and has served with the Young Lawyers Division of the American Bar Association.


She has been recognized as a “Top 40 Under 40” attorney in Massachusetts by The National Black Lawyers. She serves on the Board of Directors for One Can Help and The Chris Foundation, and is the author of Walking Through the Clouds.

DR. RAFAELA GARRETA


Dr. Rafaela Garreta is an international attorney admitted to practice in both Brazil and the United States, with a strong background in American and international law. She is recognized for her academic excellence and commitment to justice and equity.


She earned her Bachelor of Laws from Estácio de Sá University in Rio de Janeiro and was admitted to the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) in 2006. She later obtained her Master of Laws (LL.M.) in American and International Law from Northeastern University School of Law in Massachusetts.


Dr. Garreta graduated as valedictorian of her class and served as Chair of the College’s Commission Against Institutionalized Racism. Her leadership reflects a deep commitment to advocacy, inclusion, and legal reform.

She is a member of the Brazilian Bar Association and is admitted before the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, the U.S. Federal Court for the District of Massachusetts, and the Executive Office for Immigration Review.

Cassaundra Troiano, ESQ

Cassaundra Troiano is a trial attorney and fierce advocate for children, families, and marginalized communities. She represents underserved and underprivileged individuals in juvenile, family, immigration, civil rights, prisoners’ rights, and criminal defense matters, with a practice rooted in protecting those who often have no voice in the legal system.


Attorney Troiano regularly appears in court, where she handles contested evidentiary hearings, termination of parental rights proceedings, custody disputes, and complex, high-conflict litigation. She serves as an Attorney for the Minor Child (AMC) and Guardian ad Litem (GAL), ensuring that children’s safety, stability, and best interests remain at the forefront of every case. 

As a criminal defense attorney and seasoned trial lawyer, she brings strategic courtroom advocacy, skilled cross-examination, meticulous case preparation, and command of complex litigation to every matter she handles. She is also a skilled mediator and negotiator, adept at resolving disputes effectively while safeguarding her clients’ rights and long-term interests.


Through her work with The Chris Foundation, Attorney Troiano provides trauma-informed, client-centered representation to survivors of human trafficking, civil rights violations, and immigration injustice. She collaborates closely with social service providers and community partners to deliver holistic advocacy that empowers survivors, protects family integrity, and promotes lasting stability.
